Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a 12 month FTC in the Bath area.
You will be working for a company that manufacture a range of products within the security sector and will need security clearance to work here.
**Responsibilities**- Provide hands-on support to production and service facilities.
- Assist Production department with movement of materials when necessary.
- Investigate plant failures and carry out root cause analysis and problem solving techniques to provide permanent solutions to avoid repeats.
- Supervise and direct contractors in both maintenance and project capacities.
- To minimise the costs of maintaining equipment wherever possible.
- Liaise with process personnel on process improvements.
**Requirements**- Time served Mechanical bias engineer
- Apprenticeship trained within engineering
- Manufacturing or production experience is essential
**Hours**- Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
